The difference between mechanism sand and natural sand

The mechanism sand is relative to natural sand such as river sand. Natural sand is mainly caused by natural forces, such as river sand, sea sand, and mountain sand.
The mechanism sand refers to rock particles with a particle size of less than 4.75 mm which are made by mechanical crushing and screening after soil removal treatment. At present, mechanism sand is produced and used in many parts of the country. In some areas, industrial waste, construction waste and waste rock are processed to make recycled aggregate for reuse.
The difference between mechanism sand and river sand:
1. Stable supply problem. Due to years of mining, natural sand has less resources and its supply and quality are not guaranteed; the mechanism sand raw material are sufficient, as long as there is a place where stones can produce mechanism sand. Construction waste, gravel tailings, scraps, stone chips, gravel, mine tailings can be used as mechanism sand raw materials.
2. The price problem. The price of mechanism sand is basically much cheaper than river sand.
3. Ruggedness and durability. The solid performance of mechanism sand is slightly worse than that of river sand, but it still meets the superior product index.
4. The effect of mechanism sand stone content on the performance of cement mixture. Through the test of cement, mortar test, concrete test, for the preparation of concrete,there is no big difference between natural sand and mechanism sand.
5. The graininess of the mechanism sand is more irregular. When bonding with a structure such as cement, it tends to have better adhesion, more compression resistance and longer service life.
6. Environmental protection issues. Traditional mechanism sand production does bring environmental problems such as dust pollution, but with the continuous improvement of the sand making process, the production now basically adopts fully enclosed structure, and each machine has a water spray setting, the dust is not spilled. Environmentally friendly dry process do not need to wash, it has no sewage, sludge, dust and other issues.
