The classification of jaw crusher

In mining, building materials and infrastructure fields, jaw crusher is mainly used for coarse crushing and medium crushing. According to the width of the feed opening size, jaw crusher is divided into large, medium and small types; feed opening width is greater than 600mm called large jaw crusher, feed opening width is between 300 to 600mm called medium jaw crusher and the width is less than 300mm called small jaw crusher.

 

According to different movable swing ways, jaw crusher can be divided into simple swing crusher (simple pendulum crusher), complex swing crusher (compound pendulum crusher) and integrated swing crusher.

 

There is no uniform regulations for models of jaw crusher and they are generally self-named by manufacturers. Currently, the most common jaw crusher is PE series,this model is widely used in mining, metallurgy, building material, highway, railway, water conservancy and chemical industries.
