Mechanism sand refers to rock particles with a particle size of less than 4.75 mm made by mechanical crushing and sieving after earth removal treatment.
Raw materials for mechanism sand are widely available. Limestone, river pebbles, cobblestones, granite, basalt, bluestone and other stones are commonly used raw materials for mechanism sand. Limestone is a stone mined from the mountain. The size of the original ore is large. Generally speaking, a complete limestone sand production line will be designed with three stages of crushing mode. As far as equipment is concerned, it is mainly divided into four parts: feeding equipment, crushing equipment, screening equipment, conveying equipment.
1. Feeding equipment
Feeding equipment usually uses vibrating feeder, trucks transport the material to the silo, and then the vibrating feeder is stably, uniformly and quantitatively fed into the crusher for crushing.
2. Crushing equipment
It is also the main part of the entire production line. Limestone is of medium and low hardness. Usually, jaw crusher is used for the first stage crushing and impact crusher is used for the second stage crushing. After the second crushing, stones can be produced. If you need mechanism sand, you can add sand making machine.
3. Screening equipment
Each section of the crusher must be equipped with a vibrating screen, which is used to screen the crushed materials and send it to the next section for crushing. If it does not meets the requirements,it will be returned into crusher for re-crushing.
4. Conveying equipment
Each machine needs to be connected with a conveyor belt for conveying materials.
